My name is Rikki Austin, a passionate copywriter, photographer, woods walker, vintage lover and Gilmore Girls aficionado (team Jess, rise up) from the midwestern haven of Columbus, Ohio.

I’ve been a copywriter since 2016—I didn’t choose it, it chose me—and in that time I’ve covered everything from jewelry to fragrance to cat food to sliders (yes, even as a vegetarian)! I can get into the mind of a brand's consumer, twist my words around strategy and wring emotion out of it and onto the page. I love developing voices and tones, leading email campaigns and making complicated subjects more approachable to consumers with a little bit of magic and warmth woven into every word. I don’t just know how to say something, but I know what to say and where to say it. Working with small brands has taught me how to wear a lot of hats, and wear them well I do.
